Beginners

Want to take up running? Think you’ll look silly and don’t know what kit to get? Come along and have an assessment, we will analyse your running gait and make recommendations for appropriate footwear based on our findings. We have a number of running shops we can recommend for further analysis and discounted running shoes.

Then join one of our running clubs to get started – if you want to run for fun or if you want to train for an event we can provide the support you need.

What is the best form of cross-training to support running?

It’s well known that running keeps you incredibly fit, toning the legs and stomach fantastically. However the high impact of running can cause injury and muscle imbalances, and anyone who runs knows how tight the lower limbs can get. Supplementing your running with yoga or pilates sessions can be the perfect antidote to tight hamstrings.  Cycling is an excellent cardio work out to complement your running, focussing on glutes and hamstring developement with little impact.

The Technique Interval Boot Camp

Running is a good way to keep fit and if you do it regularly enough there is no doubt that you will get better at it. However if you want to facilitate your training and see minutes drop of your personal bests then why not try our interval boot camps.

These hour long sessions are based around the principle of interval training and incorporate a mixture of maximal work with steady state running. They are aimed at endurance athlete’s but would not hinder anybody taking part in regular team sport who does not have time to get to training sessions in the week. They are based in Hyde and Battersea Park.

Our trainers are highly qualified army PT instructors and in general will not take no for an answer, so be prepared to do some hard work. Every 8 weeks we run a series of fitness tests aimed at gaining information on your current levels of fitness, if you want to take the boys on then feel welcome.

We run three levels of interval sessions, beginners/rehabilitation group, intermediate and advanced level. It is important to highlight that these sessions are hard work and because of this should not be taken lightly. We guarantee results but a certain amount of common sense should be observed and your own well being should be paramount. We advise people start in the intermediate group before progressing to the advanced group and a medical disclaimer has to be completed prior to starting with us.

So below we have put together a pricing structure, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch
