Run London – Regent’s Park Hill Sprints

Regent’s Park Hill Sprints

I love this run for the view across London it provides at the top of Primrose Hill.

Primrose Hill

Starting at Baker St, you run to the out circle of Regent’s park, follow this north along the outside of the park. Once you hit the chariots of fire style running track (you won’t miss it, there are always people training there) hang a left and cross over the canal and into Primrose Hill.

For the circuit trainers there is an outdoor gym with monkey bars etc. I always find myself running towards the top of the hill, it’s here I often stop for a brief rest and smash out 6-8 sets of 50 – 60 metre sprints. With the last and final sprint a gruelling run to the summit of Primrose Hill, the burning is worth it though. As by the time you get to the top you are greeted with a wonderful view across London.

It’s then back down through Primrose Hill and back onto the outer circle of Regent’s Park, heading south. This then brings you back to your start point.

Distance: 3.2 miles

PB hard to say exactly, doing the hill sprints at Primrose Hill often means the time isn’t accurate. Should be somewhere around 30 mins.
